Nestled in the heart of The Blue Mountains, Jozo's Bar is a welcoming bar & grill that perfectly blends a laid-back atmosphere with delicious comfort food, making it an essential stop for locals and visitors alike. Whether you're unwinding after a day on the slopes or meeting friends for a casual night out, Jozo's balances the vibrant energy of a bar with a cozy, unhurried vibe that invites genuine connection and relaxation.
Jozo's menu is a true celebration of classic bar fare elevated to satisfy every craving. Their signature Beef Dip with Fries delivers tender, juicy slices of beef tucked into a fresh bun, paired with crispy, golden fries that maintain their crunch even when drenched in flavorful au jus. For fans of handheld favorites, the burgers stand out—each bite harmonizes savory meat, a delicate touch of their unique Burger Sauce Garlic, and soft buns. Not to be missed are the shareable appetizers like the Beer Battered Onion Rings, which are golden and perfectly crispy, and the Deconstructed Nachos, layered thoughtfully with generous toppings that sing with every forkful.
What truly makes Jozo's experience memorable is not just the food but the attentive and professional service, as echoed by the patrons. One guest, A P, was pleasantly surprised by their server’s anticipation and impeccable timing — refilling drinks and engaging effortlessly. This level of hospitality complements the quality food offerings, whether it’s a comforting bowl of French Onion Soup or crispy sweet potato fries alongside a fresh, tangy chicken Caesar wrap.
Pair your meal with a selection from their thoughtfully curated drink options. Local craft beer enthusiasts will appreciate the Thornbory Hazy IPA and the smooth richness of Rickard's Red Beer. For wine lovers, the list brings a taste of Niagara’s finest with a glass of Chardonnay from Vineland Estates or a crisp Riesling from Megalomaniac, carefully chosen to elevate your dining experience. And those with a sweeter tooth can indulge in their classic Coke Float, a nostalgic treat combining creamy vanilla ice cream with fizzy cola.
What really sets Jozo's apart is its atmosphere — described by regulars as warm and inviting, a place to “unwind without the loud rush.” Unlike other bars in the village that buzz with high energy, Jozo’s charm lies in its calm yet lively ambiance, perfect for meaningful conversations or simply relaxing after an exhilarating day skiing. Patrons cherish this unique balance, returning for the consistently flavorful dishes and the genuine hospitality that makes every visit feel special.
Whether you’re stopping by after hitting the slopes or looking for a dependable spot to enjoy well-made comfort food paired with local flavors and friendly faces, Jozo’s Bar offers an authentic and satisfying experience in The Blue Mountains. With its generous portions, reasonable prices, and quality service, it’s no wonder guests describe Jozo’s as a hidden gem and a must-visit destination.
Hidden gem. Wasn't expecting to have such great service from a bar but our server was a true professional, anticipating needs, refilling beverages and interacting with the table perfectly! Iur table had a chicken ceasar wrap w sweet potato fries and nachos. The wrap was really tasty, not dry or soggy. The nachos were good, toppings were fairly well spread and layered. Solid drink menu with a decent variety of options.
Service there was great. They were quick to help. Food was pretty on point as expected. The Avalanche fries though weren't as good as I expected. The poutine was good. Fries were very crispy even after the gravy. Burgers were good. French onion soup was perfect. Caesar salad tastes almost exactly like the Keg. No complaints! Great spot to eat if you want a quick bite at Blue.
Warm, good spot to get comfort food after skiing. It's a bar... But not loud, you can talk to each other and unwind. Other bars at the village are fine too, but louder and there's this rushed energy there. Jozos is more calm... Not boring.
Great place to come in for a bite while skiing. Consistent food and service. Especially good when it's band night!
Best place that we went to during our stay at Blue Mountain Resort Inn. The food was delicious, served promptly, and the waitress was beautiful and extremely nice I had the chicken wrap, shared it with my husband we had fries, and an order of onion rings. My daughter had the Nacos. We had a couple of cocktails and a beer. The bill was only $100. Great price, for the huge servings of food. I highly suggest eating here if you stay at the Inn.
Food was good; service was at first delayed but ok after; nice patio seating
Great food, great service, love the drink selection. Managed to score some Knob Creek bourbon!!
